Italian Chaat Salad Recipe

Prepared with basil leaves, lemon wedges and Parmesan cheese, this Italian Chaat Salad is a very delicious and healthy fusion salad recipe. This salad is made for those people who don’t want to compromise on their taste while they binge on some healthy dishes. You can try this sumptuous easy recipe for picnic, monsoon and even for a game night.

  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon shredded basil
  • 4 tablespoon virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon virgin olive oil
  • 2 cup sliced,parboiled sweet potato
  • 1 medium sliced tomato
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon wedges
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon Tamrind chutney
  • 1 teaspoon lemon rinds
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 1/2 cup Refined oil

For Garnishing

  • 1 handful chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup pasta spaghetti
  • 1Preheat oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
  • Step 2Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Make the dough and keep aside.
  • Step 3Roll it flat with rolling pin thinly and cut into small size pooris using cutter or small katori (bowl).
  • Step 4Dust flour on baking tray and place place chips. Baked until it turns golden brown in colour.
  • Step 5Sauté sliced sweet potato and sliced tomato in oil and season well with salt and red chili powder.
  • Step 6Deep fry spaghetti pasta and keep aside.
  • Step 7In bowl, add potato, grated ginger, Parmesan wafers and tamarind chutney gently. Garnish with chopped coriander and fried spaghetti and serve.
